Survivors Reunite is a organization working on be coming non profit that is dedicated to fighting domestic violence through legal reforms. We are domestic violence survivors and their supporters who are committed to seeing an end to abuse. Too often, we hear from survivors who share their stories that the enacted laws do little to protect survivors. Many of them have found themselves victimized once again by the legal system, the courts and law enforcement agencies. As a result, individuals have joined forces to take a stance against domestic violence through changing the laws. In a grassroots, nationwide effort, our volunteer members are working in every state to change the legislation that affects domestic violence and its survivors.
Survivors Reunite is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who are affected by abuse. We advocate for legislation that will protect and empower all survivors, whether they still remain in or have left the abusive relationship.
Here is some of the legislation Survivors Reunite is focused on: -A National Registry for Domestic Violence Abusers
-Protecting survivors from further abuse by advocating for tougher enforcement and punishments
-Ensuring a survivor's rights in housing and employment
-Timely enforcement of Court Orders
-Child support issues
-Child visitation protections
-Protection from intimidation before, during and after court appearances
-And many more....please feel free to notify us your concerns.
